.-After The Beatles broke up in 1970, John Lennon continued to be in the world's eyes.

-During the seventies John became a peace activist, releasing many songs speaking out for peace.

- Many songs, such as "Imagine," "Give Peace a Chance," and "Happy Xmas (War is Over)," became very important to the Anti-Vietnam Movement.
